Wire rope

The electric hanging basket wire rope is made of multiple layers of steel wire twisted into strands,and then a certain number of strands are twisted into a spiral rope with the rope core as the center.The steel wire rope has high strength,light weight,stable operation,and is not easy to break suddenly.It works reliably.

The steel wire rope plays the role of bearing loads,and its performance is mainly determined by the steel wire.

The steel wire is a round(or special-shaped)wire made of carbon steel or alloy steel by cold drawing or cold rolling.It has high strength and toughness,and the steel wire is surface treated according to different environmental conditions.

(2)Rope core.

It is used to increase the elasticity and toughness of the steel wire rope,lubricate the copper wire,reduce friction,and increase the service life.

There are several types of wire ropes for electric hanging baskets.

The electric hanging basket is made of several thin steel wires,and the wire rope layers are twisted around a metal core.It has poor flexibility and is easy to wear and break when repeatedly bent.It is mainly used as a non-moving tension rope.The double-wound rope is made by twisting the steel wire into strands and then twisting the strands around the rope core into a rope.The commonly used rope core is hemp core,and asbestos core or metal core twisted with soft steel wire is suitable for high-temperature operations.The rope core is dipped in lubricating oil before making the rope to reduce the wear caused by friction between the steel wires.The double-wound rope has good flexibility,is easy to manufacture,and is widely used.The wire rope can be divided into single-wound rope,double-wound rope and triple-wound rope according to the level of twisting.

The double-wound rope is used as strands and then twisted around the double-wound rope core to form a rope with good flexibility;but the manufacturing is more complicated,and the steel wire is too thin and easy to wear,so it is rarely used.There are two winding directions of wire rope:forward winding and cross winding.The winding direction of the steel wire twisted into strands is the same as the winding direction of the strands twisted into ropes,which is called forward winding.The forward-wound wire rope has better contact between the steel wires,better flexibility,and a long service life,but it has a tendency to twist loose,so it is not suitable for use as a lifting rope for suspending heavy objects.It can be used as a lifting rope or traction rope for guiding heavy objects with rigid guide rails.The winding direction of the steel wire twisted into strands is opposite to the winding direction of the strands twisted into ropes,which is called cross winding.Cross-wound wire ropes are not easy to twist loose,and are more commonly used in lifting operations.
